Cambridge Protests the Killing of Trayvon Martin

Students and community members gather at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, to protest for Trayvon Martin, a 17-year old teenager who was killed on Feb. 26.

By 6:15 p.m., over 100 protesters assembled at the Harvard Square T stop.

By 7:15 p.m., more than 200 protesters were gathered in The Pit. Supporters shared poetry, personal stories, and calls to action throughout the evening.

Protesters stayed past sunset, deciding on the next steps for action.
